Yes that is correct.
I did find the problem, bad icm. I also gave it a full tune up, plugs, wires, coils, map. Runs like new. Thx for the help.

Napa ProFormer brand. They said they would exchange it for the better brand (Echlin).
I will put new gas in, but it only has been sitting for a couple weeks.

Re: 97 Bonni Just died - will not start
Well, I replace the crank position sensor, no start.
Then I replaced the ICM (ignition control module) and the car STARTED. But, it ran rough like it was missing on one or more cylinders and the exhaust had an egg smell odder, different from when the car was running good. I let it run for 5 to 10 ...

Re: 97 Bonni Just died - will not start
Unplugged the maf, no luck. Checked for spark, no spark. Next step, try to test the cps and the icm. I just put a new icm in this past summer. So, guessing it's the cps. Thought I would have seen a code for it.

97 Bonni Just died - will not start
Sorry for posting another "Just wont Start" thread, but I thought I would run this by to see if I get my baby running again.

Re: 2003 SSEi with 68k possible purchase
Done deal! Purchased the car tonight and I am very pleased with everything. Andrew swapped out the motor mount with a new OEM mount so I could test drive to confirm that feel I was seeing in the shifter. Bingo, like mention above what I was feeling was the solid mount. 100% warm and fuzzy! Car drove ...

Re: 2003 SSEi with 68k possible purchase
My OEM style replacement mount failed in less than 10,000 miles. I don't drive like a maniac, but not gently either. Just something to consider.

Thanks to everyone that chimed in on my thread. Looking forward to the outcome of this SSEi.

Hey Bill, Andrew here. :hello2:
Like I said, if your only concern is the front engine mount, I can replace it with a brand new stock one in only a few minutes. Here is some info on the solid mount I installed: http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/forum/2000-2005-other-than-gxp/topic44765.html ...

Re: 2003 SSEi with 68k possible purchase
Yes, an Andrew flip is a bulletproof car for years to come. What you felt in the shifter handle is the solid mount. It truly is a common issue. I've had a solid mount myself for almost 4 years now.

Re: Steering Issue – Rapid Jerk in a corner
Thanks crash,
I will check the lca bushings tonight. The sub frame bushing are far from new but not that bad.
Maybe I will just do the ball joints and hubs this weekend.
