Re: Help! Need to get to work/school tomorrow
Changed out the IAC valve and that helped with the erratic idle. Drove it around last night just fine, no hesitation, etc. This morning I started her up, let it run for a couple minutes before driving. Made it maybe 3-5 min down the road and it started happening again. Was able to restart every time ...

Re: Help! Need to get to work/school tomorrow
After much research, I'm leaning toward the IAC and will be checking tomorrow. Still going to check the basic connections and maybe throw the rear O2 sensor on for good measure. After all is said and done I'll drive it down there and have them test it out. Amps seem to be reading normal on the dash ...

Help! Need to get to work/school tomorrow
I have a 2000 Bonneville SLE with 160,000 that has been throwing P0140 (twice?), weird.
Here's the problem (sorry in advance for the length, trying to get as much info as I remember in this):
A month ago, stranded leaving work. Died, would try to start but wouldn't turn over. Unplugged the MAF and ...

AC compressor
Recently bought a 2000 SLE, naturally aspirated. The guy put the bypass pulley on since the compressor went out. I plan on doing the compressor/accumulator myself, but I don't feel comfortable discharging the AC system myself. I'm pretty sure the system will need to be flushed also. Is it better to ...
