sell or junk?
I've had my '03 SE since '04 and it now has 305,000 miles. I bought a new car in 2019 so since that time the Bonneville has been a 2nd car so I don't depend on it. The plan all along was at some point to get rid of it got worn out to a point I no longer feel like dealing with it. I might be at that ...

recurring brake problem
I replaced my front brakes and rotors about 1.5 years ago, and after several months, I got vibration when I applied the brakes. After living with it for a while, it progressively got worse, so this past September I replaced the front rotors, and that corrected the problem until about December. Now ...

Moog strut assembly, good?
I'm thinking of replacing my front struts with the Moog complete strut assembly I see listed on Rock Auto for my '03 SE because I don't want to deal with compressing the spring to replace just the strut. I've seen the posts about the Monroes raising the ride height and wondered if anyone has used ...

Re: ELC Level Control parts needed
The box you are talking about behind the rear seat is called the Rear Integration Module, RIM. Only other car I know of that uses the same sensor is the LeSabre.

Re: shock replacement...alignment?
Ordering the shocks and Moog mounts now, do I need to get 2 of the Moog Mounts (Part # K5341) from Rock Auto if I am doing both rear shocks, or does 1 mount have enough parts for both shocks?

Re: shock replacement...alignment?
Thanks for all the info, I will replace the mounts too if I do them with the Moogs. It's not a big deal if the bolt breaks, right, just replace the bolt and the speed nut on top of the control arm? The hole in the control arm the bolt goes through isn't threaded, is it? Because if it is that could ...

AC Delco water pump part #
I need to replace the water Pump on my '03 SE, and Rock Auto lists 2 AC Delco units for the car:
#252693 cast iron impeller; Does Not Include Mount Bolts; Aftermarket Design $27.79
#251718 OE Design; Stamped Steel Impeller; Includes Mount Bolts; Includes Mounting Bolts $87.79
I've heard about the ...

shock replacement...alignment?
I think I need new rear shocks, I've got a squeak coming from the right rear tire area. Shocks are original with 118,000 miles. From what I've read, it seems pretty easy to replace the shocks and mounts. Question is, if I replace just the rears, is an alignment needed afterwards? Also, if I have ...

removing fuel sending unit
Hi, I'm in the process of removing my fuel sending unit to repair the gas gauge inaccuracy. I'm following the procedure from this site found here:
